Product Description
Schoenhut’s bright 25-key tabletop model is the perfect choice for a toddler’s first piano. Encourage your child’s musical creativity with a fun and educational musical instrument. My First Piano is an ideal tool for kids developing hand-eye coordination. Chromatically tuned, the lovely chime-like notes are produced by little hammers striking precision-ground, German steel music rods . Schoenhut’s patented Learning System, with its play-by-color teaching method, makes playing simple and fun. A removable color strip fits behind the keys to guide small fingers from chord to chord. The chart also works on adult keyboards, since keys on Schoenhut toy pianos are of corresponding width. This teaches children proper “finger stretch” from the very beginning. The accompanying songbook contains a collection of familiar tunes. This Learning System has been specially designed to build a child’s confidence and develop basic playing skills.
Sorry if I sound racist, but why are there so many clips of Asian kids playing the Piano on youtube?
I’m not trying to be racist, but why? every time i try to listen to a piano song little Asian kids usually come out, how accurate is the stereotype that Asians push their kids to do such things like piano even when they don’t want to?
I want to start playing piano.?
At the age of 16, you don’t think it’s too late, do you?
A lot of people started back when they were kids and stuff, so that’s kinda discouraging.
Anyway. I probably will try, anyway. Although, I am short on money. =(
I’m looking to get a keyboard for myself, because a full piano is way too expensive, and I’m just starting out, anyway.
I’m looking for basically a cheap 88-key, weighted keyboard. I’m not interested at all in the synths and other instruments, I just want classical piano. Is there a good, cheap one that can offer that? I’ve got maybe $250 total.
Any other advice? I’m gonna get some lessons from the music teacher here at school. My mom says I should get the basics down from him before I buy myself a keyboard.
What do you guys think?
in the movie unacommponied minors, the kids were in the gift room and the black boy was playing a song with a?
piano or keyboard, idk. what is the name of the song he was playing, he didnt have any words in the song, i know that.
How long did it take you to get good at playing piano?
I like classical music, I want to be able to play some of my favorite dongs. I took piano lessons for like a month when I was a kid … I’m pretty good at teaching myself things. I want to leanr using my electronic keyboard and google video/youtube.
How long did it take you before you could play decent? I don’t expect to be able to play Winter Wind any time soon … but I want to play something better than Twinkle Twinkle … and improve my left right coordination … etc … and just be decent.
Does anyone know where I can find a video of Noah Gray Cabey (My Wife and Kids/Heroes) playing piano?
I know that he played piano on the show My Wife and Kids as Franklin, and I searched youtube, but I can’t find anything. If anyone knows where I can find an online video of it, that would be AWESOME. (or anyone willing to upload one…?)
He doesn’t have to be in character, either. Just him playing the piano. Thank you, in advance!
Random fact: According to wiki, he’s been playing piano since he was eighteen months old. 0.o
DOES ANYONE ACTUALLY EVER READ THE QUESTION?
I TRIED YOUTUBE, BUT COULDN’T FIND ANYTHING.

Playing The Piano-How can children teach themselfs to learn how to play the piano and identify notes by name?
there are some really talented kids in the world who know how to play piano like a professional for their age,Ellen DeGeneres has had some smart young piano players on her show,so has Oprah,
I mean for their age they know how to fully read and understand sheet music, how is that possible,I wish I could be like those kids, well I am not a kid anymore, how do young kids learn to identify notes and memorize things that they will need to memorize in order to read any type of sheet music that is put in front of them?

Why Do You Think Inner-city Kids Aren’t As Interested In Playing Musical Instruments As Much As Suburban?
A lot of older ppl I know who grew up in the 70′s (were in high school or pre-teens then) seem to know how to play bass, drums, the keyboard/piano & some even the sax. I know some kids like college bands but so many seem disinterested. Not even the turntables & scratching seem as popular as it was in the 90′s.
Suzuki method: Baby (4 months old) playing with colored keys
cgi.ebay.com Selling Electronic Keybords in eBay to be used in MUSIC IN COLORS and SUZUKI methods. How This works: ————– – For babies: There is no age to start learning! Even infants and toddlers can familiarize with the music and its instruments. Indeed, studies show that the Color/Note association helps to develop cognitive skills even in the first months of live. – Ages 4+: Starting to understand the printed score. Play with the written word in an adequate manner bridges sensory-motor experience and the appearing of representative and/or symbolic thought. The kid will associate the colors in the staff with the keys in the keyboard intuitively with minimum assistance from parents or teachers. – Ages 7+: The fact that the notes were always properly positioned in the staff (following the standard notation) allows the kid to initiate the second phase in the method with minimum adult assistance. This phase in nothing but a replacing of the “Color association” with the standard score as we know it (ie. a symbol association based on position of the note in the staff). Parents and teachers will only need to “blacken” the notes from the staff in order to initiate this second phase.
