I’m starting to tutor (not professionally) some young kids up the road because their teacher has retired.
I am Grade 7 on piano and have a lot of old music lying around.

One is 9 and can just play with both hands.
One is 7 and can play right hand OR left hands.

What do I need to take for lessons, how much should I charge and are there any good starter piano books to get for them?

my little sister is going to be in a school talent show, and its a 80′s theme. she is going to play the piano. i need to find a song that’s she can play. shes only been playing for 8 months, i need something easy, that a 10 year old can play. shes really good at singing too. so maybe if we cant find a song she can play on the piano, she can sing it. but all the kids are singing. i need free sheet music that goes with it.

im thinking Alone by heart or STYX Come Sail Away. but i think thats kinda hard, plus i cant find sheet music for it, thats free.

I was just wondering if anyone who could give me some tips on teaching young kids the piano.

I’m writing a esay on teaching piano with great success. So far im not having any trouble teaching its just i kinda need some notes to right down.

I am looking for free sheet music to All Summer Long by Kid Rock. It should be available online and include piano and vocals. Also, if anyone can find free piano and vocals sheet music to Fireflies by Adam Young they would probably get best answer. Thanks in advance!
Well, I’ve found free sheet music before lots of times. I just can’t find the site I used before.

Ok, so I took piano lessons for 6 weeks; enough to teach me how to read the music and what notes were what (I already knew the treble cleff, because I have been playing clarinet for 4 years. Anyway, I love bands like Chiodos, Alesana, Silverstein, Senses Fail, etc. I also like small acoustic bands like NeverShoutNever! and things along those lines. I ALSO like punk-pop like Forever the Sickest Kids, All Time Low, We The Kings and that sort of stuff. I know how to read tablature as well, so I was wondering if anyone had/knew where I could find easy/medium level music or tabs to play for a band like these. Thanks (Free is preferred)

Need a holiday present for my friend this weekend! Want to get him a piano keyboard but just as a joke gift, so it can be used or cheap. I do, however, want it to have more than 10 keys unlike all the ones Ive been able to find under $50. My price range is about $15 give or take. I’ve already teased him about this present so I have to come through, anyone have a used one to sell or an idea of where, close to bethesda, I can find one?
