I came across a video of a kid playing the piano amazingly well.

I just started my four year old on piano classes. I would like her to play like this child. Do you think such talent is nurtured or just inbuilt?

Kristen was reading the National Horse Newspaper as her mom said.”Go to bed,it’s late.” when suddenly something caught her attention.

Arabian Breed Very Close To Extinction!!!!
2 Horses left, One in Arabia, and the other in America.
This happening is due to a trader and trainer, named:
Husan Al Din , meaning judge . Husan Al Din was a horrible man. His family was in the training business and was mostly successful at it. Although his father and grandfather were fabulous at this trade, Husan was very cruel to animals and they could sense it! In the year 1663,Husan bought 333 horses- all Arabians, hired 16 grooms and 7 assistant trainers. He used the whip and threw bark at the horses so they turned skittish.One by one the grooms and trainers started firing themselves and eventually 26 of the horses died from lack of food and excercise. Overwhelmed by being left with 307 horses and no help, he just left. None of them survived, except 2,who found the supply of hay and ate and ate and then someone found them and took care of them“.
Kristen gasped .”I have to do something!”
Kristen had never seen an Arabian, but loved every breed of horse.
Sally walked in.
“What ever it is, it’ll have to wait until tomorrow unless you want to get in trouble with mom because I will tell her if you don’t go to bed.”,She said snobily.
“It’s none of your business! Now go to bed yourself!Your only 6! And it’s 10:47 at night!”
I’m just going to finish reading this. Kristen thought to herself.
“The 2 left are named Sare Belle and Romani Katchian.
What weird names, thought Kristen.
They are located in Nelson, Virginia and and west central Arabic desert.
“Nelson is just a ½ hour away!” She said to herself.
Suddenly she heard a loud Knock on her door. It creaked open.
“I still hear you.”, said sally in her snakey little voice.
“What do you mean?”, Kristen whispered wonderingly
“I wasn’t even talking!”
“Then why did I hear you ????”
“What are you girls doing up?”,Called their mom.
“Yeah what are you doing up?“, Said the little snakey, obnoxious voice.
“I will never understand Sally or any 6 year old!“, she thought.
She rubbed her eyes. ”I guess I better go to bed.”, Kristen said sleepily.
“I will read the rest tomorrow. ”TOMORROW!I have my report due! Oh no! Ok,if I get up at 7:30, and take a shower and finish my report then by 8:25 I can have breakfast and practice my piano and go to the bus stop at 8:50

Kristen could not get her mind off the horse.
“I wonder if it’s Sare Bele or Romani Katchian that is in Nelson.”Hmm…maybe it’s….”
“Kristen, Kristen Walkma! “
Huh? Yes, Ms.Fabens?
“Do you know the answer to the question?” Ms. Fabens asked
“What question? ” Kristen wondered out loud.
Billy and Bobby-the twins snickered in laughter.
“Boys-to the princible’s office with you. That’s the 3rd time you’ve talked out of turn today.”
The twins slinked out of the room.
“Um, Ms. Fabens, What was the question?”
“Never mind that Kristen. ”She said sharply
A loud murmer swept throughout the room
“If you children don’t quiet down, We won’t have The last day of school party with room 2B tomorrow.”
A hush fell through the room.
Suddenly they heard a noise.
It was someone knocking on the door.
The principal walked in.
“Why are you kids still here? ”He said sternly
“Ms. Fabens, There’s a party in the teachers lounge.
“Kids, Go home the bus is waiting!”
“Wait before you go, Take a permission slip and information sheet. We’re going to a ghost town!” Said Ms. Fabens hurriedly.

Sally Runs again

She put the permission slip packet on her desk and turned around to place her backpack in her closet.
She heard a snicker.
“SALLY!!!!!”
She spinned around and chased her sister.
“You have my packet! Give it back!!!”
“NO!I’M GIVING IT TO MOMMY!!!!!!!!!”
“ok……..now I know I will never understand her.” Kristen thought.
She walked down the stairs, past the kitchen, past and guest room and family room and into her mothers room where Timmy was sleeping.
“So you want to go on a summer camp field trip ?”
“Sure”
“It’s in Nelson and it’s a historic town that is so small that for 3 days you can explore it on your own-except at night.” , her mom replied
“Yeah, that will be fun, wait where is it?”
“Nelson”, Her mom said briefly.
She started off to her room, sat down on her bed and picked up the newspaper and found the place she was looking for.

“Nelson! It was perfect .she would go there and find the horse!”
“The camp was on Monday. Today is Thursday. so that would be 1,2,3,4,5 counting today and Monday.”

I AM A CHILD.12 YEARS OLD

I am a piano/music teacher. There are alot of children that would like to have the opportunity of music classes but parents cannot afford to offer their children this. How do I go about raising money money inorder for children to continue in the arts and me to continue teaching? I have ideas for fundraisers but dont know the laws in place or permits I would need.

I”m a girl, just turned 14, and I feel that life is totally and utterly unfair. I’m only 5 feet 5 inches and I can’t seem to get model thin legs no matter how many thigh exercises I do. Plus, some clothes don’t look good on me because my boobs are still not growing much (I’m almost flatchested).

My face doesn’t have any distinguished features. My nose is kind of flat, and my face is flattish (it’s ugly). I’m also getting a ton of zits. My hair’s horrible also. For some reason, it’s been getting very oily and I’m starting to get dandruff!!

This may sound like I’m superficial, but I’m not. I can’t sing, dance, act, or entertain people well.
I’m pretty smart and I get straight A’s, even though I don’t study much. The only thing I like about myself is that I’m phenomenal at piano. I’ve never had a piano teacher (just my mom, who taught me the keys and how to read music sheets)
and I’m almost a professional player
(like, I learned to play this song perfectly by myself last week in 3 hours

I’m also very shy when it comes to speaking to people who are older than me (even though I’m very outgoing towards my friends/kids my age

Anyways, I’m very depressed.
I’m not pretty like Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie, Miley Cyrus, etc.

**And I’m not talented like my all-time idol Hugh Jackman, who is the most talented actor, dancer, singer I’ve ever seen. Not to mention he’s got a very charming personality and he’s amazingly hot.

i auditioned for LaGuardia High School of preforming arts for vocal and instrumental . i can play the piano and read sheet music . for my audition i had this really intimidating voice teacher as the adjudicator. i saw a girl come out and she was like ” he’s so scary !!! ” and ” i did so bad ” and stuff like that . so i was getting kinda nervous .

when they guy came out and called my name , for some reason all the nerves went away. i gave him my letter of recommendation ( forgetting it wasnt for him , but for the piano adjudicator ) so he was trying to be all itimidating and mean to try and test to see if he could syke me out and he was like ” what are you giving me this for ? i dont need this ! ” ( he didnt say it really mean , cause i knew he was TRYING to be that way ) so i just smiled like it was a joke all embarassed like .

but he took the letter and opened it any way . he saw that my piano teacher at school said i was working on a piano piece and he asked me to play it ( toccata and fugue by bach ) so i played part of it for him and he stopped me at about half of the page and told me to play the piece i was playing for the piano audition .( prelude by bach ) so i played half of it before he stopped me . ( he didnt say ” okay thats enough ” he was like ” okay ” like approvingly .

and he told me to go up to the stand ( where you sing ) . then he waited a second before he told me to start . he sat at the piano , and started playing the piece i had just played ( the prelude ) and i started laughing and he started smiling the he started to laugh .

then he told me to sing . i sang my song and to my surprise my voice didnt shake at all . usually my voice shakes when im nervous . after i finished my song he was thinking for a second then told me to sing silent night . i sang it and he said ” okay ” apporvingly again . and then i did the tapping test and then the melody test . i did good on both of them .

and it was over . i asked around after other people took their auditions for voice too see how theirs went .. and it was NOTHING like mine … he only asked them to sing their song and do the tests . not all the extra stuff he asked me to do .. i think it went well but im going against ALOT of really good people too and i dont know what their looking for .

the only reason i mentioned the piano part of the audition was because they usually want people who know how to read music . cause when they take people in for voice , they take piano classes . to learn to read music . and i know he knows i already know how to read music , so im guessing thats good on my part .

the only bad part im worrying about is my grades ..
the guy asked me what my grades were cause i didnt have my report card on hand ( it was mailed in ) and i said that they were in the 90′s .. and he asked if they were lower or higher before and i said lower .. he asked how low and i said in the 80′s … it was partly true because i got above 80′s in 2 classes and in 70′s in the other ones last year . but this year it was 90′s .

but he already had the results on the paper when he gave it to his assitant to give to the people who handel the results . so if it said ACCEPTED on the paper , and they give it in . does it mean i get in ? OR do they look at the report card first ? cause all the kids but me had it on hand to give it to the adjudicator and they gave it back when they were finished looking at it ..

so what do you think ? did i get in ?

give piano, keyboard classes for beginners or experienced players (kids, teens or adults)

my son has been taking piano lessons for over 2 years, and i like to have him tested for the U.S. standard level (not sure about the official term). How does the level system work? how many levels are there total? And what are the requirement for each level?

tabs or anything for keyboard/synth/piano. i want like big band names, jacks mannequin, chiodos, something corporate, the devil wears prada, drop dead gorgeous, scary kids scaring kids etc
googling sucks. all the websites i got didnt work.
