I just learned how to play watch me bleed by scary kids scaring kids on the piano and was wanting to know if there were other songs out there that are just like it to learn. Any suggestions???

What is a good age for kids to start piano lessons?

How long did it take you to get good at playing piano?

I like classical music, I want to be able to play some of my favorite dongs. I took piano lessons for like a month when I was a kid … I’m pretty good at teaching myself things. I want to leanr using my electronic keyboard and google video/youtube.

How long did it take you before you could play decent? I don’t expect to be able to play Winter Wind any time soon … but I want to play something better than Twinkle Twinkle … and improve my left right coordination … etc … and just be decent.

Whats a good piano brand?

I’m going to get a Piano (Keyboard Piano) soon and i really want a good one.

Not the kind for little kids, I’m fourteen and I’m serious about playing. -_-’

Anyway, thanks! :)

What are some good piano songs for kids?

Me and quite a few friends plan to record a CD for a local Children’s hospital. Each one of the tracks is either an instrumental or vocal piece which are all kid-friendly! :D

But I’m having a little trouble…
We each need two songs to perform.
I’ve got one,
“Winnie The Pooh – Main Theme”

But what other songs are good for kids? On the piano, I mean?

Thanks!! :D

What is your favorite Burt Bacharach song, and what good memories does it bring back?

I’ll speak for myself, and say “Raindrops keep falling on my head”,
because I remember when it first came out in 1969, and I was just old enough at 7 to be hip to the hits on the top 40. It’s the second
song I commited all the lyrics to memory on. I still remember singing “raindrops” in second grade walking to school on a rainy day. How can you beat THOSE memories?
I remember, in the days in the late 60′s when people still gathered
around the piano, and sheet music was all over the top of it,
singing ALFIE along with the family.
I remember ALL the dionne warwick-sung ones when they first hit
on AM radio in the 60′s, except for “walk on by”.
I remember the kids liked the “what do you get when you fall in love” lyricss. That was what was so great about bacharach, his playful lyrics.
What do you get when you fall in love?
A guy with a pin to burst your bubble
That’s what you get for all your trouble.
I’ll never fall in love again.
I’ll never fall in love again.

What do you get when you kiss a guy?
You get enough germs to catch pneumonia.
After you do, he’ll never phone you.
I’ll never fall in love again.
I’ll never fall in love again.

Don’t tell me what is all about,
‘Cause I’ve been there and I’m glad I’m out,
Out of those chains, those chains that bind you
That is why I’m here to remind you

What do you get when you fall in love?
You get enough tears to fill an ocean
That’s what you get for your devotion.
I’ll never fall in love again.
I’ll never fall in love again.

What do you get when you fall in love?
You only get lies and pain and sorrow.
So, for at least until tomorrow,
I’ll never fall in love again!
I’ll never fall in love again!

I Need Some Help Finding Good Piano Sheet Music?

Ok, so I took piano lessons for 6 weeks; enough to teach me how to read the music and what notes were what (I already knew the treble cleff, because I have been playing clarinet for 4 years. Anyway, I love bands like Chiodos, Alesana, Silverstein, Senses Fail, etc. I also like small acoustic bands like NeverShoutNever! and things along those lines. I ALSO like punk-pop like Forever the Sickest Kids, All Time Low, We The Kings and that sort of stuff. I know how to read tablature as well, so I was wondering if anyone had/knew where I could find easy/medium level music or tabs to play for a band like these. Thanks :) (Free is preferred)
