Whenever i see teens they always want to learn to play electric guitar. Also, in schools accoustic guitar doesn’t seem to be a popular instrument cause bands don’t use it. So mostly kids learn Piano, Violin, Flutes, other wind instruments and drums.

Is there a reason kids don’t like to learn accoustic guitar and why schools also don’t incorporate the instrument into their music programs?

It seems as though kids don’t like to learn it cause it’s NOT COOL, that’s how they see it. They think it’s an instrument for the old, and plus MTV and all those things they watch never include it.

i have an electric keyboard by yamaha. i can’t find any websites to teach me songs that aren’t little kid songs. is there any way that i can play the same songs on the keyboard that you do on a piano? if not, do you have any links that can teach you how to play some songs on the keyboard? thanks.
