What should I do about college?

I’m really undecided of what I’m going to do for college. My apps. have to be in by March 1st and I haven’t done anything. I think I have some good references (I volunteer a lot) so I will have no problems with my letter of intent. But the thing is there is nothing I want to do I talked to my school adviser a few times and stuff there is nothing. I was going to apply into languages and take Chinese or Japanese (such beautiful languages) in hopes of teaching English to kids in third world country’s. But I decided I didn’t want to do that. What I really like is makeup. But no one in my family supports that and they wont pay for me to get professionally trained, I know a lot but there is so much more I can learn. Do you think I should just take next year off to decide what I want to do? Or I should just apply? The thing is I don’t have the BEST grades, a lot of my grades aren’t as high as they could be because I’ve been sick for the past 3 years so it’s been hard to go into school everyday. Now I’m semi home schooled so my grades should rise slowly. What do you think I should do? (I know I said that twice.)

-I’m a very artist/creative person
-I love to read/write. Hence why I love English so much.
-I’m musical, I play the piano/guitar. But I can’t apply into a music program because I can’t read sheet music, I play by ear.
-I really love politics. It’s something I’m very passionate about and can have a conversation about it for hours, but I get bored of it sometimes.
-I love helping people
-Love working with people and animals

Also I was thinking of not graduating this year and maybe improving my grades so I can get into the best of the schools. What do you think? (yeah 3 times D:)
Also I have my own philosophical person if that makes sense. I like to think the way I think and I get mad easily when people try to tell me different.

i would like to find out about the piano learning kids’ uniformed level system in U.S., i.e. level 1, 2….

my son has been taking piano lessons for over 2 years, and i like to have him tested for the U.S. standard level (not sure about the official term). How does the level system work? how many levels are there total? And what are the requirement for each level?
