Free piano lessons online?

Our kids 8 and 6yo were given a cheap casio keyboard. They started(as all kids do) just mashing keys and changing to different instrumental sounds and mashing some more.

Recently our 8yo decided she wants to learn to play some music. We downloaded some free lessons from http://www.learnpianoonline.com and with my limited musical knowledge have helped them both through the lessons.

They both are taken in by the ease of learning from this site and their enthusiasm is rubbing off on me.

Has anyone paid for the remaining lessons from this site, and if so are they as good as the first 3 free lessons. Obviously a face to face teacher is best, but thats not viable at the moment. Any comments on this sites information is welcomed.

Much of playing the piano is TECHNIQUE and you CAN’T LEARN THAT FOR FREE OF THE INTERNET… in fact.. you can’t learn technique out of a book… you need to get the 8yo a TEACHER so she can LEARN CORRECT TECHNIQUE. I started playing at age 6, so she is old enough to take lessons and to benefit from them.

Hey why don’t you try ultimate-guitar.com and try to download tabs for Guitar Pro. You can view the piano version of those tabs you’ve downloaded there. You can follow the tabs easily coz there is a virtual piano at the screen.
